About Me

I study Computer Science, or something like that, because we call it, Informatics Engineer, so, I do not think it is exactly the same. But I really like what I do.

What I do

I am a student, but from that you don't see anything diferent in me. So this is basically what i do more that most students.

CeSIUM

I'm a CeSIUM member since my first year and this year I'm the DevTeams Director. I've participated in 3 small hackathons by CeSIUM, every time they organized those. But now times have changed, and CeSIUM is part of greater things. I've been part of the STAFF in the first edition of Hackathon HeartBits, and in the Return Hackathon. Both of them were organized by CeSIUM in cooperation with other teams of students.

DevTeams

It is department of CeSIUM. Our goal is that other students learn more during their time in university. My job is to invite professionals to guide students, doing some cool projects and learn new things.

CoderDojo

I'm a mentor in this initiative since my 2nd year. What we try to do is teach kids from 7 to 17 something about programming and show them how programming can be a cool activity to do!

SEI

Since I got here, I've been attendee at SEI one year, and in the two years after that I've been member of the STAFF. This year, I'm part of the organization of this amazing event.

Talks

Last year I've given one small talk focusing on productivity on text editors. This year, Ive given a few more talks and some demonstrations to schools about hardware (mainly arduino), and programming concepts in general.

Events

I've participated in Pixel's Camp, a 48h Hackathon. I've gone to the first and second edition of it, but only in the second I've been part of a team that has ended a project on time. Also other conferences like ENEI.
